Welcome to Championship Saturday at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs ! It's No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the   national championship match as the top-ranked Barry Bucs face off against your No. 2-ranked Armstrong Pirates for the 2014 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis title.

Today is also a busy day for Armstrong softball as the Pirates need just one win today to advance to the NCAA Division II Softball World Series - first pitch is 12:00 p.m. from Dahlonega. And today is travel day for Armstrong men's golf, heading up to Allendale, Mich., for the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championships. The blog will be leaving on a jetplane this afternoon to join the golf team in Michigan later today, but first.. plenty of business to take care of here at Sanlando Park. Go Pirates !
